Tammy Bayewitch
Tammy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her degree from Stony Brook University. During her career, she has been serving the mental health population via her work in community rehabilitation services and giving therapeutic interventions to families, couples, and individuals. She has experience working with adults, young adults, adolescents, and children with various mental health issues. She interacts with her clients with support and empathy, allowing them to feel calm as they process and explore their external and internal stressors. By using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), she encourages clients to be more open in terms of their thinking to see conflict in a manner that’s more productive and healthier. She has experience working alongside people with personality disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety, mood disorders, and depression. More specifically, Tammy has helped clients that have environmental and personal issues such as trauma, family dynamics, substance use, societal pressures, faulty thinking, unhealthy relationships, and low self-esteem. Tammy’s objective is to bring about an environment that’s safe and therapeutic which fosters growth, acceptance, and openness.
