  • Comprehensive Initial Evaluation

    The initial visit takes about an hour and involves comprehensive assessment. It helps if all care providers/parents are present during the initial evaluation as it provides a complete picture of the difficulties the patient is facing. Kindly bring with you to the appointment any copies of previous psychiatric assessments that include (but not limited to) recent medications, discharge summaries from hospital, and neuropsychological testing. The assessment is followed by a thorough discussion of different treatment modalities available.

  • Neuropsychological Assessments

    Wonder Years provides Neuropsychological Assessments for Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, ADHD, Anxiety & Autism in both Children & Adults. Call us for more details.

  • Tele-Psychiatry

    Wonder Years provides the option of Tele-Psychiatry in the state of NY. Initial appointments must always take place in person, however. A Tele-Psychiatry visit will be considered exactly the same as a regular in-person visit and so is the fees.

  • Therapy

    Wonder Years provides Individual & Group therapy using the most current and proven approaches for Anxiety, Depression, Phobias, Trauma and Relationship issues.

  • ADHD Coaching

    ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder which can affect children and adults. The treatment for ADHD may involve medications, therapy and coaching. Wonder Years provides specialized coaching for ADHD for all age groups.

  • Second Opinions

    Sometimes parents and other treatment providers like psychiatrists, psychologists, and primary care physicians want a fresh look at the diagnosis and treatment. These evaluations are as comprehensive as initial evaluations and involve about an hour. It is recommended that copies of prior assessments, psychological testing, discharge summaries from hospital, and recent medications be brought with you during the appointment.

  • Follow up visits

    The duration and interval of follow up visits are dependent on the complexity and treatment needs of each individual patient.
